Glamour to Beat the Gloom

Being held in aid of The Marie Keating foundation, The Designer Circle fashion show will take place this Wednesday 1^st April at 7:30pm in Luttrellstown Golf Club, Castleknock.

Thursday March 26^th: There will be no April Fools attending this event. Hosted by Holly White of RTE’s Dan and Becks, The Designer Circle Fashion Show will feature some of Ireland’s top models gracing the catwalk in designer labels at guilt-free prices. An array of nearly new, high-end designer clothing and Suits will be both on show and for sale on the night.

Elizabeth Nuzum, owner of The Designer Circle, commenting on the launch event said “I am mother of three young children, ranging in age from one and a half years to four years old and was looking for an opportunity to get back to work. Needing flexibility and spotting a newly created gap in the market, I decided to set up The Designer Circle which I run by appointment from a studio in my home and online at www.thedesignercircle.com.”

Commenting on the show Elizabeth said “There will be lots of nearly new designer bargains to be snapped up on the night with the added benefit of helping a charity close to so many people’s hearts". Linda Keating of The Marie Keating Foundation added “It’s great to see women participating in this type of novel event in the current economic climate and we are delighted that the Designer Circle has chosen the Marie Keating Foundation as the beneficiary for the evening”.

Available at the show will be a range of nearly-new fashion labels with many designer dresses originally retailing at €800+ for sale on the night for less than €200. About The Designer Circle: Established in 2009, The Designer Circle brings buyers and sellers of high-end, nearly new designer fashion together.

About The Marie Keating Foundation: The Foundation was established in 1998 following the death of Marie Keating, mother of Irish pop star Ronan Keating.  Since then, the Keating Family has campaigned to provide women and their families with the necessary information to prevent breast cancer or detect it at its earliest stages, which was until now, the Marie Keating Foundation’s primary purpose.  Every year during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Foundation organises a series of fundraisers and events aimed at educating the public and promoting the benefits of early detection of breast cancer.
